Why Qodo Git feedback stopped or appears inconsistent

Symptoms

  • Automatic comments (/describe, /review, /improve) stop showing up
  • Only some users get feedback while others don't
  • Inconsistent feedback across pull requests

Common Cause: Free-tier limit reached

Qodo Git Cloud includes 75 PR feedbacks per month per git organization. Above this limit, PRs won't get feedback until the next monthly reset unless you have a paid plan.

How to restore consistent feedback

1. Ensure a paid plan is active

  • Purchase a Teams subscription, OR
  • Join an existing paid team by accepting an invitation from your team owner

2. Link your Git user in the User Portal

Follow these steps to link your account:

  1. Sign in to the Qodo User Portal
  2. Click your username (bottom-left)
  3. Select "Link your git user account"
  4. Connect your GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab Cloud user

3. Confirm the app is installed on the right repositories

Install Qodo Git on the repositories where you expect feedback.

What happens next?

When limits and linking are set, Qodo Git will resume automated feedback on new PRs and pushes (subject to your repo/org configuration).

Still not working?

If you've completed all the steps above and are still not receiving consistent feedback, please contact our support team with:

  • Your Git username
  • The specific repository experiencing issues
  • Confirmation that you've completed all three steps above

Our technical support team will investigate and help resolve the issue.
