When you contact our support team about a technical issue with Qodo IDE, providing the request ID helps us quickly identify and resolve your problem. This unique identifier allows our technical team to locate the specific interaction in our system logs, enabling faster and more accurate troubleshooting.

What is a request ID?

A request ID is a unique identifier for each interaction with Qodo IDE in our internal systems. Format example: ef0b8735-1fa8-48fe-bc03-836085dd4605

When are request IDs most helpful?

Request IDs are particularly valuable when you encounter errors such as:

  • "aborted"
  • "Internal server error"
  • "We're unable to process this request"

Note: "Internal server error" and "We're unable to process this request" messages typically include the request ID directly in the error message.

Important: Contact us quickly We keep logs for a very limited time, so please reach out to support as soon as possible after encountering an issue. This ensures we can access the relevant logs before they are automatically deleted.

Please follow these steps to get it:

  1. In Qodo IDE, look for the three dots next to the response. Click on them.
  2. Select "Copy RequestID" from the dropdown.
  3. Share the request ID with us.
